As an Engineer, Rachel works on a diverse range of new design and retrofit projects.  A native New Yorker, Rachel holds a strong appreciation for the role that structures play in our every day lives, and is passionate about creating engineering solutions that integrate well with architectural goals.

Rachel received her Bachelor’s degree from Brown University and her Master’s degree from UC Berkeley.  During her undergraduate career, Rachel conducted research for the Network for Earthquake Engineering (NEES), using finite element simulations to investigate non-destructive evaluation techniques for highway structures.  This experience sparked her interest in both analysis and earthquake-resilient design.

Outside of the office, Rachel enjoys tap dancing, cooking with ingredients from all of San Francisco’s farmers’ markets, and attending concerts and festivals.
